| long time no see, do you really have the time to read this? if you do, go ahead, no one is stopping you
my life has been real busy lately, lots of interesting things happened. I am going to Cal State Fullerton for a Business Major concentrating on management. Still going to Harvest Youth Ministry and getting more involved in activity plannings. I also found a job as an office assitant at a Farmer's Local Agency, Steven Lee's Insurance near Las Tunas and San Gabriel. Trying to get myself financially independent. Even though I'm still living at home, trying to get my car insurance and everything else paid by me. Saving up some money so that when i do graduate from Fullerton, I can buy myself another car. Suprisingly, I am planning to stay like this for a few years or at least 2 years. Insurance company pays pretty well. The only problems is that my shifts are until 6 pm. That means my time with friends are cut drastically. I'm a friend oriented person. Still don't know how that will effect me. I begin to miss the summer times already and it's only October. I guess a little time away from my friends isn't a bad thing. There's good and bad to it. of course the bad thing is that i can't hang out with them anymore. The good thing is though i can save up a pretty big amount of money and also saves me some heartaches.
I miss high school. College seems boring. Just going to class and doing hw and going to work and go home and rest. I barely have time to rest now. truthfully i don't get settled until about 7:30pm every weekday. then i need to start on my homework, studying and trying to get some sleep in as well. Weekends are just crazier. Like before, I still hope for the weekend, but i used to hope to rest int he weekends. Now i hope to see my friends and rest at the same time. Working from 9-1pm on saturdays, then there's church worship practice. Sat afternoon/night is the only time to hang out w/ friends, dat's if THEY are free. and then sunday morning i gotta get up at like 7:30 to go pick up ppl for church cause we have hw help at 9. don't know how long i can keep this up. I asked my friends WHAT I SHOULD DO IF I'M TIRED they all said should just take a time out, stop for a second and rest. But the world doesn't wait on me. I guess i'll just have to wait till i'm really tired and finally brake down for one weekend or something.
I realize that it's hard to be there for everyone. Sometimes you just gotta let them do things on their own. Of course i'm still learning. God even taught me a big lesson last night. I'm begging to think though that life is boring. I really don't want my life to just settle like this. That's why i'm not just gonna sit around and hang out.
that's it for now...we'll hope and work for the best! Blessings Panda

| Pray, Believe, and it’ll Happen
I was listening to a sermon by a youth pastor in TCHS Christian Club about prayer. He was telling us a story that I’ve heard a long time ago:
There was an old lady in Africa who was really poor. To people, she couldn’t even afford food for herself, but to 12 orphans, she was their mother. She took care of 12 kids ranging from 15 to 5 years old in a house that can’t even be called a full house. One day, she asked the children to dig a bunch of holes in the ground. They were curious so they asked their mother, “Why did you tell us to dig holes?” She replied that she has prayed to God and asked for lots of seedlings to be able to plant flowers and such tomorrow. She wanted to be ready to receive the gift from God and wait upon the Lord. She didn’t want to simply wait till the seeds to arrive then dig holes, but to be ready. The kids didn’t understand why, but they obeyed her. Then they went to sleep. In the morning, there was a ship sailed to them and a ministry was delivering a bunch of seedlings to this village, specifically to her. As the children were surprised, the old lady believed. They all gave thanks to God.
The above story is merely from my memory, but it reminded me that God answers prayers in miraculous ways. So I was thinking, I prayed. I prayed to God that he will be able to let me buy a car that my parents would approve of and not that expensive. I asked Him to send a car to me hopefully before this year ends. This is what happened. The day after I prayed to him, my parents were looking at a car for sell for $2000. I was happy, but the car was leaking oil. So my parents were questioning whether to buy it for $1500 or not. That night, I prayed to God again, “Thank you Lord for helping me find a car already, Lord I know you will execute your plan and give me the best at your will.” The next day, I was already excited about the half broken car. I was happy if we could have bought it. When my mom picked me up from school, I asked her if they decided, she told me they are still hesitating. My heart was beating. “but,” she said, “ I saw another car in the morning that was only $1500 starting price, maybe we can check that out.” I agreed, but I really liked the first car. When we went to look for the second car, the owner was really happy. He told my parents that he feels he’s going to sell the car tonight. I was excited, I thought, God, you are AWESOME! Even though the air conditioning had some problems, we were able to agree on $1000 and took it that night. When we got home, I still couldn’t believe that God has brought me to a car that my parents would approve of. I thanked God that He worked so miraculously. After the second day of my prayer, I already got a car to drive to school. It looks in a much better condition than the $2000 car. I bought it for half price. The mileage was cut in half in the car, from 200k to this car, 100k. God has brought me a car with less problems at a way cheaper price. I give all the glory to HIM.
HALLELUJAH!
Pray, and believe, get ready to recieve God's grace!
I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. 24Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. John 16-23;24
